Race to Nowhere Documentary to Show in Dedham

The Dedham Community Theatre will show Race to Nowhere on February 26 and 27, at 9:30am, followed by a panel discussion of parents and educators. The documentary tells the stories of young people "pushed to the brink," in the pressure-cooker environment of an achievement-oriented culture. The movie is a conversation starter and "a call to mobilize families, educators, and policy makers to challenge current assumptions on how to best prepare the youth of America to become healthy, bright, contributing and leading citizens." Tickets are $5.
