Parenting Issues in Times of Grief and Loss

In response to a number of requests from Westwood parents, Westwood Youth and Family Services will be hosting a forum for parents this Thursday, March 4th from 7:00PM-8:30PM in their main office at the Islington Community Center (288 Washington Street).
This will be an opportunity for parents to get together and address their questions and concerns about how to support their children and adolescents after a sudden loss.
The conversation will be facilitated by WY&FS Director, Danielle Sutton, LICSW and Youth Services Counselor, Tracy Gabriel, LICSW. There will be additional resources for parents regarding grief and loss in children and families.
The Westwood Youth and Family Services department will also be open, with counseling staff available, for any residents who might want to drop-in between 9:00AM and 7:00PM this Thursday and 9:00AM to 4:00PM Friday, March 5th.
