Help Plan the Westwood You Want
At a workshop held earlier this month, Town officials with other town board and committee members kicked off the process to update the town’s 10 year old Comprehensive Master Plan. A group of enthusiastic residents came together to hear a brief presentation, broke into brainstorming groups then shared ideas to be considered in planning for Westwood’s future. Now, the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee is "recruiting" to fill six topical subcommittees to continue with this important work.
We need Westwood’s best and brightest citizens, to join one of these subcommittees:
- Community Character
- Community Services, Facilities and Recreation
- Housing
- Open Space, Natural and Historical Resources
- Transportation
- Economic Development
Subcommittees will meet on a designated weeknight for a couple of hours, once a month or so.
