Dedham Ped/Bike
Westwood residents interested in biking and pedestrian issues might want to check out a community meeting at Dedham Town Hall on Wednesday, November 10th at 7pm to get public input on improving conditions in Dedham for cyclists and pedestrians. Dedham's Sustainability Advisory Committee is looking to move forward on specific projects to make walking and cycling a safe alternative to driving. This meeting seeks public input on what should be the first steps.
The citizens of Dedham raised this issue during the drafting of their current Master Plan and this meeting on November 10th is to jumpstart the focus on cyclist and pedestrian needs. They are inviting people from neighboring communities to come to offer their ideas, what's working, what isn't. The plan is eventually to connect bike lanes, sidewalks, trails from Dedham to neighboring towns. We would love it if someone from Westwood came. The meeting is Wednesday, November 10th at 7pm, Dedham Town Hall, 26 Bryant Street, Dedham
