Community Harvest Dinner

The First Church and Parish in Dedham is hosting the 4th annual Community Harvest Dinner at the UU church, 670 High St., in Dedham, this Saturday, October 30. For more information, go to their website and contact the church to make reservations. You don't need to be a member of the church, resident of Dedham or vegetarian (main course will be TURKEY).
This is a great event--I attended the first one in 2007 and it helped me become more interested in local food. I later joined the Powissett Farm CSA and blogged a few times here about our enjoyment of the share of locally-grown food we obtained each week. It's also fun because it brings together people from the area who share an interest in sustainable and healthy living.
