Bus Routes and Walking to School
It's a little ironic; we moved from busy Gay Street to quiet Fairview Street...but just outside the walking zone for Hanlon. So, after Thursday's open house, my daughter will be riding the bus (see schedules on town website). Walking to MMO is now super-easy though which means avoiding that parking lot nightmare.
October 7, 2009 is International Walk to School day - I'm sure the school newsletters will talk more about that as I know Downey and Hanlon participate and hopefully Martha Jones, Deerfield and Sheehan will sign up this year too.
